Field Assistant to the Field Group
We are now focusing on developing our work with children and young people in public spaces – with an emphasis on early interventions according to the new Social Services Act. Would you like to make a difference where it is truly needed? We warmly welcome your application to us at the Field Group!
About the Position
As the new Social Services Act comes into effect, we are strengthening our focus on early and preventive measures – and now you have the opportunity to help shape this work together with us!
At the Field Group, we work to identify young people who are at risk and provide them with support for positive change. As a field assistant, you will work preventively with young people aged 13–18 years. You will move in their environments on streets, squares, schools, and youth centers during the day, evenings, and weekends to build relationships, identify needs, and offer support. You play an important role in motivating and supporting both young people and their parents through conversations and presence. The work is based at the Field Group but takes place largely in various areas of Örebro. You will work independently but in close collaboration with a dedicated team of field assistants. Cooperation is a central part of our mission. You will collaborate with schools, youth centers, social services, and the police, and also contribute to spreading knowledge through lectures on youth-related issues.
With us, you will not only have a meaningful job, but you will also be part of developing new working methods in a time of change.
Examples of Tasks:
- outreach work
- concern and support conversations
- collaboration with various authorities, schools, and associations
- outreach work with information and educational initiatives
